Hotel Vocabulary
  • Hotel – a place where you pay to stay during travel
  • Reception – the front desk where you check in/out
  • Reservation – booking a room before you arrive
  • Check-in – the process of arriving and getting your room
  • Check-out – the process of leaving and returning the keys
  • Lobby – the main entrance area of the hotel
  • Bellboy – a person who helps with your bags
  • Housekeeping – the staff who clean your room
  • Concierge – a hotel worker who helps with travel plans
  • Guest – a person staying at the hotel
  • Double room – a room with one large bed or two beds
  • Single room – a room for one person
  • Suite – a large hotel room with extra space
  • Room service – food or items delivered to your room
  • Amenities – extra services or things like Wi-Fi, pool
  • Wi-Fi – wireless internet service
  • Key card – a plastic card used to open the hotel room
  • Minibar – a small fridge with drinks/snacks in the room
  • Elevator – a lift to go up or down in the hotel
  • Complimentary – free of charge (e.g., free breakfast)

Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself (Ashish Pithadiya) as a lecturer at PNR Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Palitana. I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in English Literature, which makes me well-equipped to guide and mentor students in this subject area.
