General Shopping Vocabulary
  • Shop – A small place to buy things
  • Store – A bigger shop
  • Mall – A big building with many shops 
  • Market – A place with many sellers
  • Supermarket – A large shop for food and home items
  • Department store – A big store with many sections
  • Window shopping – Looking at things without buying
  • Sale – A time when things are cheaper
  • Offer – A special deal or discount
  • Discount – A lower price
  • Price – The cost of something
  • Cheap – Not costly
  • Expensive – Costs a lot
  • Bill – A list of things you bought with prices
  • Receipt – A paper you get after buying
  • Return – To give back a product
  • Exchange – To swap one item for another
  • Customer – The person buying

  • Cash – Paper or coin money

Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself (Ashish Pithadiya) as a lecturer at PNR Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Palitana. I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in English Literature, which makes me well-equipped to guide and mentor students in this subject area.
