Story 2: My Brother's Birthday Surprise
My brother turns 12 this week. He loves surprises, so my parents and I are planning something special. Right now, we are decorating the living room with balloons and lights. My mom is baking his favorite chocolate cake in the kitchen.
Every year, we celebrate his birthday at home. But last year, we took him to a zoo and he enjoyed it so much. He saw lions, giraffes, and even fed some deer. He still talks about that day.
This year, we are going to invite his school friends and neighbors. We will play games, cut the cake, and give him a surprise gift. My dad is going to bring a new bicycle for him — something he has wanted for months!
I will record the entire celebration on my phone and later we will watch it together. I know my brother will smile all day. I am going to write about this party in my diary too.
