Rising Intonation (🔼)
Used in:
  • Yes/No questions
  • Surprise or uncertaint
  1. Are you coming? 🔼 → Voice rises at the end.
  2. Is it raining? 🔼 → Keep your tone curious.
  3. Do you like tea? 🔼 → Raise pitch slightly at “tea.”
  4. Can I help you? 🔼 → Soften tone, rise gently.
  5. Are they ready? 🔼 → Lift pitch at “ready.”
  6. Is this yours? 🔼 → Stress “yours.”
  7. Shall we go? 🔼 → Go up at “go.”
  8. Did he call? 🔼 → Rise at “call.”
  9. Have you eaten? 🔼 → Slight lift at “eaten.”
  10. Are you okay? 🔼 → Sound caring and rise at the end.
  11. Is this your book? 🔼 → Pitch rises on “book.”
